On November 14th, our team at Digitel had the pleasure of welcoming four curious children to our office and manufacturing facility. Zukunftstag, also known as “The National Future Day,” is an important event in Switzerland that encourages young girls and boys to explore non-traditional career paths and gain valuable insights into various fields of work.
In Switzerland, Zukunftstag is a special opportunity for children to experience jobs that are usually associated with the opposite gender. This event aims to break down social norms and stereotypes, empowering the next generation to explore careers and interests freely, without being limited by strict gender roles. Zukunftstag helps broaden children’s perspectives and builds their confidence and courage as they think about their futures.
A Day of Discovery
As the children arrived, our team was excited to share our passion for making aerosol samplers and to show them the detailed processes involved. They got a firsthand look at the tools and machines we use. However, their experience wasn’t limited to manufacturing; some children visited the office to learn about purchasing, preparing quotes, and creating technical drawings with CAD.
