The measuring station on the corner of Taborstraße and Glockengasse in the 2nd district has been located in a modern, completely redesigned, air-conditioned advertising pillar since summer 2006. The Litfass column is about 300 metres from the Taborstraße underground station, directly on the edge of the busy Taborstraße. The site is 162 metres above sea level.
